The MSC Career and Technical Education Consortium is committed to strengthening relationships with each other as well as our education, economic development and workforce agency partners.
​Collaborative Minnesota Partnerships to Advance Student Success, COMPASS, is the statewide system for continuous improvement created through a collaboration between the Minnesota Department of Education (MDE) and the Minnesota Service Cooperatives.
KNOWLEDGE BOWL competitions are interdisciplinary academic contests. During the contest, teams compete in written and oral rounds by answering questions related to all areas of learning, typical of secondary educational programs. Questions test student's recall, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
The following are PD offerings through MSC: Reading Foundations, ParaEducator, Equity in the Classroom and Cultural Competency.
MSC partnered with the Minnesota Department of Health to focus on building capacity during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The MSC Spelling Bees are part of the Scripps National Spelling Bee program. Each service cooperative hosts a regional spelling bee in February/March with the nine champions advancing to the National Spelling Bee in Washington D.C. the last week of May.
All service cooperatives offer, sponsor, and coordinate academic programs and competitions for students, often in cooperation with other organizations and agencies. Several of these competitions reach state, national, and international levels.
